The second year for Busch Systems Community Garden was a definite success! Like last year, we grew a variety of flowers, herbs and veggies that our team of gardeners did a fantastic job tending too. The garden committee was disappointed with the yield of tomatoes this year but the root vegetables did amazing. They did so well in fact that next year’s game plan is to focus more growing zucchini, squash and cucumber.
Like last year, we dedicated a patch of garden for fresh, organic produce to be harvested and donated to the Food Bank.
