Why We’ve Partnered With Plastic Bank

Proud to have joined the Social Recycling Movement!
Plastic Bank empowers the Social Recycling movement that stops ocean plastic and helps alleviate poverty in vulnerable coastal areas. In July 2023, Busch Systems started its collaboration with Plastic Bank to help make an impact in stopping ocean-bound plastic. As part of our agreement, Busch Systems has helped stop over 45,000 KG of plastic from entering the ocean in collaboration with Plastic Bank.

Stopping Ocean Plastic and Poverty
Plastic pollution and poverty are intertwined. Plastic Bank empowers communities to use plastic waste as currency for access to secure income and life-improving benefits. Busch Systems is proud to help incentivize collection and alleviate poverty around the world.

How We’re Making A Difference

Through our partnership with Plastic Bank we’re committed to helping communities stop ocean-bound plastic directly from local beaches, riverbanks, neighbourhoods, and households. Our initiatives don’t just clean the environment; they uplift communities, foster economic growth, and lay the foundation for true social impact. Through the Plastic Bank proprietary blockchain-secured platform we can track our impact through the dashboard and interactive map below to see the amount of plastic that has been prevented from entering the ocean.

In partnership with Plastic Bank, Busch Systems is directly contributing to five of the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs 1, 8, 12, 14, and 17)
