Busch Systems has been doing business in Barrie for over 30 years now, and we couldn’t be happier to call her home. Located about an hour north of Toronto (depending on weather, Oh Canada!), the humble little city that hugs Kempenfelt Bay has grown a lot over the past three decades.

Chad Ballantyne, head honcho of Rhubarb Media and owner of the Creative Space, located in the colourful downtown area of Barrie, is a man with a mission and passion for nurturing entrepreneurs and students who have awesome ideas and just need a little space to let them take flight.

This is where the TREPDesk Program comes in.  Local businesses are given the chance to sponsor a desk that any aspiring “Treps” can use to help turn their small business ideas into a reality.

Would be entrepreneurs get access to the Trep Desk space from 9 to 5, Monday to Friday including wifi, a desk & chair, and extra space to use for whatever they’ve got ideas they’ve got cooking. Besides the desk, would be treps will also have access to meeting spaces for the days they’re in and networking opportunities with other Treps and business owners from around Simcoe County.

For the city that’s been so kind to us over the years, we want to give back any way we can. Barrie and its surrounding areas are a hotbed of entrepreneurs with great ideas that just need a little help to their ideas off the ground.

Busch Systems is the proud sponsor of the TREP Desk for all of 2016, and we can’t wait to see the fantastic ideas coming out of our continental. We’d like to thank Mr. Ballantyne for giving businesses like us the opportunity to help nurture aspiring entrepreneurs.
