Schools across New York State have an opportunity to expand or launch waste reduction initiatives through the latest round of Green School Grants from NYSAR3.
Since 2005, NYSAR3 has supported more than 100 public and private K–12 schools in implementing successful programs focused on waste reduction, reuse, recycling, and composting. These initiatives have helped schools across the state reduce waste while building awareness and engagement among students and staff.
