In 2011 Clemson University put in place the Mini Bin Program. The idea behind this was to help the campus community understand that the amount of waste was minimal compared to the amount that could be recycled. Since its inception we have seen steady increased in our recycling rates and decrease in our waste and trips to the landfill. We expect the Mini Bin Program to continue to enable us towards our sustainability goals.
