What are Data Points?

In statistics, a data point (or observation) is a set of one or more measurements on a single member of a statistical population.

For example:

When a user submits the values from their Capacity Estimate of a specific station or group of stations, the data submitted is aggregated and displayed as a single, timestamped data point in the Resource Center dashboard.
