Run For The Cure
Members of the Busch Group of Companies banned together on September 30th, 2012 where they participated in the annual and nationally recognized, Run for the Cure event. As a result of the tremendous support received, the team was able to raise $2,400 for the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation.
Barrie Christmas Cheer
With happy hearts, representatives from Busch Systems unloaded a van full of toys and handed over a cash donation of $4,600 to Barrie Christmas Cheer. Our 2012 proceeds resulted in another successful year of giving. Busch Systems is a long-time supporter of Christmas Cheer, an organization that provides families in need with both toys and food during the holiday season. Knowing our charitable efforts will undoubtedly brighten a child’s Christmas is all the thanks we here at Busch Systems need. Contributing to Christmas Cheer will continue to be a Busch Systems annual tradition.
Shown above are members of our 2012 Movember team! This year’s ‘Armour Lip Charmours’ included a couple of very unique additions! 8 year old Cameron Pepper joined the team to show that despite his age, it was important to him to support such a cause. Shari McNamara also showed her dedication by drawing on a “fake” mustache every day. The commitment shown this year was incredible, reaching an astounding $4,762 in donations – Out best year yet! Busch Systems participates annually in the Movember campaign which raises both money and awareness for men’s health, specifically prostate cancer, by growing mustaches and collecting donations. Thank you to the participants for yet another tremendous year – as well as shaving promptly on December 1st!
The United Way
Each year Busch Systems makes a generous donation to the local United Way to help build a better community. Our 2013 payroll deductions from Busch Systems staff totals $3,100 with an 81.6% employee participation rate. We are proud to continually support our community through such an admirable charity.
Sleeping Children Around the World
